[Collab] Look Book/Mani Swap: Lots of Leopard

Hey guys! Today is the 2nd of 3 collab posts I will  be doing with Jacqueline from Claws Up! This week we did something a little different than last, we decided to choose a look from each other & recreate it. I chose an outfit of hers to do the nails and she chose a nail design of mine & did an outfit to match! We actually both wound up doin leopard print lol I chose a really simple design for this, very easy for any one to recreate. I started off with two coats of Broadway Nails Black Out, added a layer of fast dry topcoat let that dry & added a layer of OPI topcoat. Then when that dried I went back with the black & did a leopard print down the right side of my nails. Her post is a more of a snow leopard, you can find it here for the details. I have a lot of pictures for this post !!

& here is the outfit that inspired my nails!! I love how her outfits are always so put together & completely adorable, even when theyre comfortable outfits ! !

Born Pretty Store Review: 3D Bats

Hey guys! Todays post is a review from BornPrettyStore.com on these 3D Bats as nail decoration. You can find the product here & make sure to use my coupon code for a 10% discount on any order!

I originally thought they were more like a glitter but they are thicker & dont bend at all to lay flat on the nail. They come in a variety of colors but I just chose to get the traditional black. I was supposed to have these in before Halloween last year but they didnt make it to me in time, I thought they would have been perfect to wear for Halloween!! As you can see they come in a little pot with a whole lot of little bats for you to use.
I started with two coats of OPI Viking In A Vinter Vonderland as my base color & used base coat to adhere them to my nail & topcoated around them. That was a terrible idea lol I suggest topcoating your nails first, then using glue or clear polish adhere to the nail when your topcoat is dry. I have a close up in the last picture to show how messy it looked doing it my way. Well I hope yall enjoy this review & have a great day I will see you later!!

[Collab] Look Book/ Mani: Winter Green

Hey guys, today I have an awesome collaboration post with Jacqueline from Claws Up! Shes been doing a lot of outfit posts on her blog called Look Books & I really wanted to do some sort of collaboration with her, she would do the outfit & I would do a nail design to match. We're actually going to be doing 3 posts all together in the end, this is #1. Jacqueline is an amazing person, I think she was my first nail friend in this community & shes such a super sweet person & am so glad I got to meet her years ago! Make sure to check out her post here
On to my post ! :)
Todays collab is about a winter green lace dress of hers.

I chose a spot on the dress that I liked and took the pattern & recreated it on my nails. I used this picture of hers since its a close up lol it was easy to spot a good pattern. & I also have a picture of her shoes, I wish I would have incorporated a bow stud in this design, her shoes are sooo adorable!!

Now on to the nail look I chose to do. I really wish I would have chosen a different green than this, but honestly I dont think I have one that even comes close to the color of her dress so I figured this had to work lol I first did two coats of Sally Hansen Shell We Dance? to give a nice color to my nude nails & then I used China Glaze Holly-Day & a fine nail art brush to do the lace details! Of course I used seche vite to seal it in. I got some really cute bow studs for Christmas & I wish I would have thought about using them in this design, they would have pulled it all together lol
Well hope yall enjoy this collab & definitely make sure to check her out, she also does nails as well as her outfits!

Silver Framed

Hey guys!! Here is my most recent nail art design. I will actually start off with a swatch of the base color because I wanted to show some macros I got of the polish. I got some lenses for Christmas & had to play around with them & this is what came from that lol
This is two coats of Avon Silver Crystals with Seche Vite topcoat

This polish is a textured polish & so I decided to show yall a comparison between no top coat & with topcoat. It takes about two coats of topcoat to get it completely smooth but even with one coat its not bad at all. & this is basically a macro of the polish & man is it gorgeous! I absolutely love it.

Now on to the nail art, using OPI Viking in a Vinter Vonderland i put a stripe down the middle of my nail & then using a striping brush I framed half of my nail & on the other half I added 3 dots & sealed it with seche vite. this design is super easy & pretty quick, you can always cut out the framing if youre running low on time to do your nails. At the end I will also add a swatch of the OPI used here! I really hope yall enjoy this design & Ill be back soon.

& here is the swatch, two coats of OPI Viking in a Vinter Vonderland! I think this is my new favorite color, it is absolutely amazing & the formula is great !! Make sure to follow my instagram for daily pics! IG: @devilishdesigns1
